This suspension is not a ‘reinforced’ suspension, but rather a suspension designed and intended for a single purpose:
a.) the Defender should, as far as possible, have the handling characteristics of a passenger car: direct, comfortable, sporty, yet not uncomfortable...
b.) the Defender should have approximately the same ride height at the front and rear axles; therefore, the springs on the front axle are raised by approx. +20 millimetres (the Defender is lower at the front than at the rear as standard)
- the lift is +20 millimetres on the front axle and +0
millimetres on the rear axle – for the perfect driving experience, we recommend the TREKFINDER steering damper (item no. 1-LRDELD)
