IMPORTANT / INFO:

A winch rope is wound onto or off the brake drum.
This means that when the winch is stopped or braked, friction occurs in the rope drum, which is transferred to the winch rope as a significant amount of heat.
The first few metres of the winch rope are therefore subject to particular stress, as they rest directly on the hot rope drum and are thus directly exposed to the heat radiated from it – which is why our rope is made of Kevlar precisely in these first few metres, offering the greatest possible heat resistance.
Only a special fibre made from extremely heat-resistant material guarantees heat dissipation and thus the rope’s long service life.
Single-component synthetic ropes cannot do this and wear out considerably faster!

• The 6 metres of special-fibre rope are also sufficient for winches with particularly large drums, e.g. the WARN ZEON
