PLEASE NOTE:

- The dampers on the front axle have a dip tube guard designed to fit the factory-fitted domes. Some aftermarket domes have a smaller diameter and are therefore slightly too tight. This may result in contact and scuffing or damage at this point. Please check during fitting and replace the dome if necessary!

1.) ...what is the difference compared to the shock absorbers from KONI’s Heavy Track Raid range?
a.
The TREKFINDER shock absorber has a slightly wider adjustment range for rebound damping.
It is supplied with a slightly softer default setting but, at the upper end of the range – at maximum rebound damping – it is identical to the KONI.
This means that the TREKFINDER version offers the possibility of tuning the damping to be even more comfortable.

b.
The TREKFINDER shock absorber is painted black rather than red.

2.) ... what setting does the shock absorber come with, and which setting should I choose for my vehicle?
a.
We supply the shock absorber from the factory in the default setting, which is setting 1.
There are 5 settings in total, with 1 being the softest and 5 the hardest.

b.
In our estimation, setting 1 covers at least 90 per cent of all intended uses.
All other settings are intended for individual adjustment to weight, speed, intended use, etc.
We therefore always recommend fitting the shock absorber with this setting first and only adjusting it after some practical use, if necessary.
