TREKFINDER wheel spacers for LAND ROVER Discovery V, type LR, +50 mm
.
Suitable for the following variants/LAND ROVER models:
- Discovery LR model
- from EC type-approval no. e11*2007/46*3784* . .
DETAILS:
- Made from high-strength aluminium alloy
- Hard-anodised in black
- with a 50-millimetre track widening per axle
- using the DRM system (discs with pressed-in bolts are slid over the vehicle’s existing studs and bolted in place)
- Use in conjunction with steel rims is generally not permitted
- Includes fixing materials (10 tapered-shank nuts)
- Includes TÜV® parts certificate
- The price and scope of delivery are for one axle (not the entire vehicle / i.e. NOT for 2 axles!)
GENERAL NOTES:
The spacer rings must only be fitted in conjunction with the standard alloy wheels and in combination with the tapered-shank nuts included in the scope of delivery.
The thread engagement length of all fasteners must be at least 6.5 turns.
Ensure that the stud bolts are of sufficient length.
The instructions in the spacer ring fitting guide must be followed. The installation of spacer rings is not permitted if the diameter of the spacer rings is smaller than the diameter of the wheel mounting surface.
Spacer rings are not approved for use with steel wheels.
The suitability of snow chains has not been tested.
An amendment to the vehicle documents is required but has been deferred. It must be reported to the relevant registration authority the next time the vehicle owner submits the vehicle documents for processing.
All fasteners must be checked after approximately 100 km of driving using a suitable torque wrench.
The spacer rings may be used on both the front and rear axles or on the rear axle only.
It is also possible to combine spacer rings of different widths on the front and rear axles.
For example: 25 mm wide spacer rings on the front axle and 30 mm wide spacer rings on the rear axle.
Spacer rings on the front axle must not be wider than those on the rear axle.
IMPORTANT:
Only to be used
in conjunction with alloy wheels featuring corresponding = CAST POCKETS = capable of accommodating the standard studs or nut heads that protrude beyond the wheel mounting surface.
The standard stud bolts may need to be shortened if necessary.
The minimum screw-in length of 6.5 turns for all fasteners must be maintained
