• Includes TÜV® parts certificate for Defender models (please check line K of your vehicle registration document) with one of the following ABE numbers: H263, H269, H571, K738, e11*xx/xx*0086*.., e11*xx/xx*0133*.. PLEASE NOTE: if this line is blank, the parts certificate is not valid and only individual approval is possible!!!
• The Defender’s frame-mounted recovery eyes remain in place and can still be used! We have not tested whether recovery equipment can be attached to other parts of the bumper, nor has this been tested by TÜV®, and we are therefore unable to make any specific statements on this matter. Please therefore refrain from asking any further questions on this subject. It has not been tested and will not be tested!
• If, despite the classification information (see above), you are still unsure, please feel free to email us your vehicle registration document and we will check the classification for you before you purchase the bumper
• It is NOT possible to have the TÜV® parts certificate sent separately before purchase, either by email or post, etc. – we will NOT process any enquiries regarding this.
• PLEASE NOTE: Defender models have historically had very wide manufacturing tolerances ex-works from Land Rover – it is impossible to manufacture a winch bumper that fits every Defender to the millimetre without exception!!!! The drill holes on the bumper and the mounting points on the Defender often do not line up 100 per cent – the drill holes in the bumper must therefore be reworked, enlarged, etc. in order to achieve the optimal mounting position specific to each vehicle. To be clear: this is not a ‘plug-and-play’ solution – specialist knowledge, tools and technical skill are required for installation !!!!! DO NOT order the bumper if you do not meet these requirements!!!! Ask us for installation partners who can fit the bumper for you without any problems to avoid any misunderstandings later on
• Suitable for Defender models with or without air conditioning 
• Optimal ramp angle for vehicles with air conditioning; the bumper “sits very far back” 
• The bumper is made from high-quality steel which is cathodic dip-coated and then powder-coated in black – including a 500-hour salt spray test
• The tubes have a wall thickness of 4 mm and are welded watertight (100% tested)
• Two very sturdy plug-in mounts for the Hi-Lift jack 
• Optimal fit, e.g. for the HORNTOLS® Alpha 9.5, WARN® 8000, XD 9000, XDC, 9.5XP, TABOR 8+, 10+, 12. PLEASE NOTE: Model 9.5cti is NOT compatible / Model ZEON 8/10/12 requires modification to the bumper (specialist workshop)
• A winch is NOT included – optional
• A roller-type rope window cover is NOT included – optional
• A winch cover is NOT included – optional
• There are different radiator grilles… and different winch designs… and vehicles with and without air conditioning – i.e. with a radiator grille positioned further forward or further back, and so on – therefore we cannot say in advance whether any adjustments or cut-outs may need to be made to the radiator grille

Fitting a winch bumper is NEVER a plug-and-play solution, especially on a Defender!
This winch bumper can only be fitted at a specialist LR workshop or by an LR Defender tuner (we’d be happy to recommend a specialist workshop).
The installation requires the fitter or workshop to have flexibility, specialist automotive knowledge, specialised tools and expertise in metalworking.
The installation instructions do not contain every single step detailing exactly what needs to be done down to the smallest detail.
Key points are described – as is usual with fitting instructions, written for fitters with specialist knowledge :)
This product is NOT intended for DIY fitting!!!!!
