Wheel spacer kit for 1 axle by TREKFINDER for LAND ROVER Defender up to model year 2016 / +46 millimetres per axle, black hard-anodised

WARNING: must only be fitted to both axles or to the rear axle; fitting to the front axle alone is NOT permitted!!!

- Made from high-strength aluminium alloy, hard-anodised black
- with rim centring, ensuring optimal rim fit for alloy rims with cup nuts, e.g. Boost rims, etc. 
- with a 46-millimetre track widening per axle (23-millimetre-thick discs)
– the scope of delivery is for 1 rear axle, including fixing materials and TÜV® type approval certificate
- Use of the track width extension with the “WOLF” ANR4583 rims in sizes 235/85R16 and 255/85R16 is also listed in the

ATTENTION/INFO 1:

The Defender models have studs of varying lengths on the wheel hub.
There is a probability of over 50 per cent that the studs will be longer than the thickness of the wheel spacer.
In other words, they protrude more than 23 millimetres from the wheel hub!!!!
This means these studs protrude beyond the spacer disc!!!!!!
In this case, the rim must have ‘recesses’ at this point so that the protruding stud has sufficient space to allow the rim or wheel spacer to be fitted correctly.
Only then will the rim sit flush and correctly across its entire surface!
Fitting must be carried out by a specialist workshop!

ATTENTION/INFO 2:

It is essential to check the length of the stud bolts and the ‘pockets’ in the rims BEFORE placing your order so that you can assess how much work the fitting will involve.
Please do not ask us which rim fits or does not fit – we will not comment on this – always check the specific case or on your own vehicle; only then can you be sure!

CAUTION/INFO 3:

There are Defender models where one corner of the hexagonal heads of the bolts for the axle driveshafts may touch the rim slightly.
In this case, tighten the bolts a little further, taking care to observe the specified torque.
Please ensure you apply threadlocker afterwards!
Often, the bolts in this area are already seized and need to be replaced entirely. In this case, replace them immediately with 10.9 Allen bolts.

CAUTION/INFO 4:

The rim must make full and correct contact across its entire surface!
Installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop!

The following vehicles are NOT approved according to the TÜV parts certificate:

Defender models where field 2.2 of the vehicle registration certificate is set to ‘00000’. The parts certificate does NOT apply to these vehicles!!! For these vehicles, registration by a testing centre in accordance with Section 21 is required.

+++ Care instructions for TREKFINDER wheel spacers +++

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, acids, alkalis or similar substances for cleaning. Use only water or acid-free cleaners. The use of aggressive liquids can lead to corrosion and the resulting loss of fastening material. Clean and inspect the spacers regularly by removing them every 6 months or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first (e.g. when changing between winter and summer tyres). Whenever you change your wheels, check the wheel spacers and fasteners for damage and ensure they are correctly secured. After cleaning, apply anti-seize paste over the entire contact surface on the rim and the vehicle.

It is essential to avoid any contact between anti-seize paste and the threads of bolts and wheel nuts!!!!

Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious damage to property and personal injury.
