Der aktuelle Land Rover Discovery entspricht zu 100% der aktuellen DNA des Britischen Traditionsherstellers. Stilvoll auf der Straße, aber trotzdem Geländegängig. Allradantrieb mit Untersetzung und 34 Grad möglicher Böschungswinkel vorne lassen daran genau so wenig Zweifel wie 28,3 Zentimeter Bodenfreiheit und 90 Zentimeter Wattiefe – selbst sein Vorgänger kam nicht durch so tiefes Wasser und über derart hohe Steine. Doch die TREKFINDER Ingenieure befanden, da gibt es noch Luft nach oben und entwickelten für die Modelle mit serienmäßiger Stahlfederung einen Satz Höherlegungsfedern, die die Bodenfreiheit nochmals um 30mm vergrößern. Die in Deutschland produzierten und mit einem Teilegutachten versehenen Federn sorgen trotz der besseren Geländegängigkeit für ungetrübten Fahrspaß auf Serienniveau dank der exakten Abstimmung auf das Discovery Fahrwerk. Der TREKFINDER Höherlegungsfedernsatz ist ab sofort zum Preis von € 499,- (UVP) im einschlägigen Fachhandel erhältlich.
TREKFINDER Raising Kit for the new Land Rover Discovery
The current Land Rover Discovery is 100% in accordance with the new DNA of the British traditional manufacturer. Stylish on the road, but still terrain capability. All-wheel drive with a reduction and 34 degrees of possible angle of incline at the front leave just as little doubt as 28.3 centimeters of ground clearance and 90 centimeters of wading depth – even the old Discovery did not come through such deep water and over such high stones.
But the TREKFINDER engineers were of the opinion that there is more and developed a set of raising suspension springs for the models with standard steel suspension, which increase the ground clearance by 30mm. The springs, made in Germany ensure the unobstructed driving pleasure at the standard level, thanks to the precise tuning to the Discovery chassis.
