This requires some technical skill: for example, you should be familiar with tools such as a torque wrench and a torque chart, and allow sufficient space for the assembly. You should be familiar with basic procedures, such as applying threadlocker. These take time and should be carried out calmly and with precision. If in doubt, have the roof rack fitted by qualified fitters.
