Inspection kit/tuning kit for TREKFINDER steering damper, SUZUKI Jimny I (Item No. 1-SUJILD + 1-SUJILD.1)
This set is designed to replace the factory-fitted rubber buffers with polyurethane ones.
The polyurethane washers are harder and provide an even more direct feel in the steering than the rubber ones do.
Not strictly necessary, but a sensible option when fitting very large tyres or as a replacement for worn rubber bushings.
Please note: the centre hole must be slightly reamed out!!!!

Subjectively speaking, after driving the first few kilometres, I can already say that the handling feels more precise! Before, when driving over bumpy roads, you had to correct the steering more and it felt a bit spongy – that’s gone now, and the straight-line stability feels much more solid.
