Intended use:

• For Suzuki Jimny 2 models already fitted with the TREKFINDER complete suspension kit (Item No.: 1-SUJI2F1.1 + 1-SUJI2F5.1)
• where the payload is so high that the rear of the vehicle is lower than the front

Further information/details

: - for vehicles with a payload
of approx. 250 kg- for vehicles WITHOUT a payload, this spring is NOT road-legal, nor was it
designed for such use- the springs ONLY work if a TREKFINDER suspension system is already fitted, ONLY then can the rear springs be replaced with this reinforced version –
these springs are not listed in any TÜV parts certificate
or ABE – the springs do not permit an increase in axle loads
– the springs do not permit an increase in the permissible gross vehicle weight (zGG)
– The spring test certificates for the existing springs and the heavy-duty springs are supplied to potentially facilitate modification approvals by a TÜV testing centre in accordance with § 21/19.2 –
PLEASE NOTE: for technical reasons, the test certificates CANNOT be sent in advance!

...well, here’s some feedback. Off-road: When unladen, it performed well with the reinforced springs. I’ve also finally had a go in a standard Jimny. The standard suspension is relatively soft. With your reinforced springs, on the other hand, it’s naturally rock-hard. But it wasn’t uncomfortable or undriveable. Travelling with all our gear: fully loaded, excluding the bikes on the tow bar, and including myself and my passenger, we tipped the scales at 1,650 kg. Heavy… but…! The springs are absolutely brilliant. There’s hardly any body roll, despite a good 90 kg on the roof alone. It drives fabulously! You get the feeling there’s nothing on the roof at all. The only way you notice the weight is in the car’s inertia. That sensation I once described to you – as if someone were tugging at your hood – is no longer there. Now, when fully loaded, it sits ‘straight’ and no longer slopes downwards at the rear…
