- Can be opened and closed without tools even after use; the pins on conventional metal shackles often require pliers to be unscrewed
- The diameter of approx. 17 cm allows even large loops or recovery straps etc. to be connected
- The shackle’s markings (breaking load, etc.) are protected from splash water, etc., by an additional heat-shrink sleeve
